Theory Of Deconstruction

Here is my answer of  Thinking  activity of
Deconstruction and Derrida:-

■  Deconstruction :-

Deconstruction, as applied in the criticism of literature, designates a theory and practice of reading which questions and claims to "subvert" or "undermine" the assumption that the system of language provides grounds that are adequate to establish the boundaries, the coherence or unity, and the determinate meanings of a literary text. Typically, a deconstructive reading sets out to show that conflicting forces within the text itself serve to dissipate the seeming definiteness of its structure and meanings into an indefinite array of incompatible and undecidable possibilities.

Term Aporia also means that, What text says and what perhaps it wants to say.
Derrida says that same text cannot be read in the same way. He also talks about free play of meaning that only word can be used for word. It is we who have given the meanings to everything, and  one meaning lead towards the different word, so he says that final meaning is always postponed.
Deconstuction means not breaking or the sake of breaking, it is not destructive activity but an inquiry into the foundations means open up the word and try to get up different meaning from same text. In other words Being skeptic , doubt and ask questions to the text or event is Deconstruction. Thus, Derrida want to transfor the way people think.

Derrida's theory of Deconstruction, simply saying ,teaches us to assess and  evaluate the work of Art without 'Set Norms of assessing them'.For that, one should come out with the courage to put the norms and principles of criticism at aside. One should try to have effects and impressions of the 'Art Piece 'of his own and with one's own norms to assess it.

                               EXAMPLE

Here is a famous picture of Bapu taken at Juhu Beach. A boy holding one side of his walking-stick and another end is in Bapu's hand.As if it suggests that the Boy is leading towards a New Dawn and Bapu is following him with smile and sincere sympathy.

But here ,the Artist have put the entire photo in to 'SEPIA' and downwards -up! It suggests that the real photo is of Past now.A boy keeping one end of the stick is going to left to right-not in right direction i.e.Right to left. It's downside-up which suggests that the whole dream of Independence and equality which were the goals that time -now have changed drastically! The picture is quite opposite one,of dreaming Independence and what not!!
After changing side of picture we find this .We compare this picture with today's time .And Painter also put a story of 'Two cats and Monkey'  in his drawing. So we compare this story with today's politicians. They take all benefits .And people get only some part of them.

This way we can said that painter want to show us Past and Present by his painting."Derrida emphasizes that to deconstruct is not to destroy; that his task is to “dismantle the metaphysical and rhetorical structures” operative in a text “not in order to reject or discard them, but to reconstitute them in another way”; - that he puts into question the “search for the signified not annul it, but to understand it within a system to which such a reading is blind.”
