Image
Thinking activity on Oneness of Literature..                     The literature is connected with each other. Or we can say,the literature is produced from the literature.. To understand a work of creativity in literature,we must have an understanding of this continuity of literature.. Inshort all literature is connected with each other .                     Literature is a term used to describe written or spoken material. Literature is used to describe anything from creative writing to more technical or scientific work but the term is most commonly used to refer to works of the creative imagination, poetry, drama, fiction and non fiction. ● Northrop Frye...                     He developed the theory of "Archetypal Criticism" based on the idea that whole of the literature has oneness of its existence. All literatures shares common DNA or skeleton. There is parallel structure in writting. ● T.S.Eliot...                         T.S.Eliot said in his "Tradition and Indivi

Hulme "Once, in finesse of fiddles found I ecstasy, In a flash of gold heels on the hard pavement. Now see I That warmth’s the very stuff of poesy. Oh, God, make small The old star-eaten blanket of the sky, That I may fold it round me and in comfort lie."                                  In this poem, there is some symbols like Gold heels on the hard pavement and the old star- eaten blanket of the sky. This poems spoken by a man fallen in hard time or fallen on a old butter night.  The words like hard pavement and star- eaten blanket shows the very bed condition of life from which poet may be passed. Star is used here in a negative meaning. 2: 'Darkness' by Joseph Campbell                 &quo

Thinking Activity on "The Waste Land"By T.S.Eliot

Respected sir,      'The Waste Land' is the masterpiece of T.S.Eliot. Eliot describes rotten state of human life in 20th century. The waste Land is the land where is nothing can be grown. The waste land is the Land of fertile, fruitless, and hollowness of human Beings in Modern age.  As we all know that the poem ' Modern Epic ' divided into five parts. Each part is  juxtaposes fragments of various aspects and it is just like episodic events which seems like 'Story within Story.'  As per my understanding, I try to give answers of questions which is mentioned here. 1) What are your views on the following image after reading 'The Waste Land'? Do you think that Eliot is regressive as compared to Nietzche's views? or Has Eliot achieved universality of thought by recalling mytho-historical answer to the contemporary malaise? T.S. Eliot and F. Nietzche                           Frederic Nietzsche was a German philosopher who gave the term

Ideas on Mario Vargas Liosa :-               Mario Vargas Llosa, the Peruvian novelist, was awarded the Nobel Prize for literature in 2010. His most recent novel is "The Neighborhood." He was interviewed for The World Post by Michael Skafidas, a journalist and professor of comparative literature at the City University of New York.                In this interview Llosa shared many ideas related to literary work in which I liked three ideas given by Llosa. ●  Idea on Feminism ●  Ideas and Images ●  Novelist is the Historian                     I personally liked the view of Llosa on feminism in which he said that feminism has become very sectarian and dogmatic kind who always stand for stupid equality. llosa also gave an example of feminists attacked  Nabokov's "Lolita" the best novel of 20th century but feminists attacked about male characters. This kind of stupidity destroy the charm of literature.                   Second is the ima
